Building Overview
Sirti is a small state agency that provides business assistance to regional technology companies, both high growth and start-up firms. Technology and market assessments, business plan evaluation and development, preparation for further financial steps and the securing of debt finance are core competencies. In addition, Sirti has 14 years of experience operating a technology incubator. A new second facility (39,000 sf), the Sirti Technology Center, has greatly expanded these capabilities.

Studies show that graduates of technology incubator programs are more than four times as likely to survive and grow as companies that do not locate in incubator programs. Sirti assists small and medium-sized businesses during their startup and early-growth stages. Programs provide resident businesses with bundled physical amenities, such as flexible lab/office/light manufacturing space and shared office equipment, as well as a number of value-added services.
Sirti incubator clients may choose from two new high tech facilities located in the Spokane University District. Space resources include: wet labs, office suites, light manufacturing spaces as well as several conference and meeting rooms. Shared building resources include: high speed fiber Internet, digital telecom, shared reception, fax machines, copier machines and lunchroom area.
While modern incubator buildings are important to clients, it’s the business assistance services that are the real benefit to start ups and small businesses. These services include business and marketing plan assistance; industry market research and financial counseling; and sometimes debt and equity financing introductions. New clients also receive help through business assessments, Advisory Boards, mentoring as well as business-related workshops. Sirti has developed many partners over the years that can also assist young companies with growth.
